Bee-Sting-Cake

Ingredients:

Dough:

250 g margarine
250 g quark
250 g sugar
2 eggs
500 g flour
3/4 sachet baking powder
Grease for the sheet

Covering:

250 g chopped almonds
250 g sugar
250 g butter
1 tbsp honey
3 tbsp condensed milk

Preparation:

For the dough, first mix margarine, eggs, sugar, quark, flour and baking powder well and then knead the dough mix with kneading hooks or with your hands to form a smooth dough. Then spread the dough onto the baking tray which has already been greased.

For the topping, melt the butter in a pot and then add sugar and almonds. Bring everything to the boil briefly, add the honey and take the pot off the heat. Finally, stir the condensed milk into the finished almond paste and spread it over the pastry.

Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes on the middle shelf until it is golden brown.

Baking temperature:
top/bottom heat: 175 degrees Celsius
Air circulation: 150 degrees Celsius

app. 30 minutes
